It played the first 5 or 6 songs, and the remainder was blank. I returned the album on a Friday, and the new one arrived, as was told to me, on Monday. The album is great. The Amazon help desk walked me through the steps necessary to return the product, and when to expect a newer version. The new one is in perfect order.Thanks for the excellant service.George Music that takes an old guy back to pleasant, simpler times.The real reason that I write is to let Amazon know that they handled my initial problem with the product in a very professional way. When the album first arrived I found a defect in CD #1.
Hope you will do more. Thanks for putting the cd together. This music is wonderful. If you grew up with it as I did, you will understand just how nice it is to find all the "great" songs in one place.
It's worth every penny. This is one of my favorite CDs.(OK, so I'm getting to the age where I'm sentimental). This one is definitely a keeper. If you recognize some of the songs, but never heard of beach music, you've got some catching up to do; but it's never too late. I loved Beach Music when I was younger, and that hasn't changed. If you ever heard these songs on the Carolina beaches, you can't pass this up.
I hope everyone enjoys as much as I have. If you buy any beach music cd, this should be the one. This is a great cd. It really covers some of the great beach music that is out there.
